About The Long Game

I write The Long Game because I care about building things that last: bodies, companies, systems, ideas.

I spend my days and nights building Mirage Metrics (AI for heavy industries) and Mirage Exploration (early-stage mineral discovery). Most of my work lives in logistics yards, mines, factories, and control rooms. But behind all of it is the same question I’ve had for years: how do you stay sharp over decades, without burning out or drifting?

This newsletter is where I work through that.

I write and curate great content about:

  • Health and longevity — strength, muscles, recovery, nervous system stress, habits that hold at 90, not just at 30

  • Startups & AI — building through uncertainty, agents, infrastructure, real-world deployment

  • Industry & Exploration — mining, energy, logistics, systems that keep the world running

  • Society & Psychology — incentives, behavior, what drives people and institutions

  • Endurance & Philosophy — history, strategy, commitment over decades

  • Tools, Books & Media — practical things worth using, reading, or watching

I don’t chase trends.

I write to understand. If something here helps you think longer-term, physically, intellectually, financially, that’s a good outcome.

If that resonates, subscribe. I force myself to keep these high signal, low noise.

Play the long game.
