On Workism, yes I agree itโs pretty endemic but maybe as the last bastion of the consumer age. We needed work to fuel our consumption.
These days, people are starting to look for more from work than a career as you say. Itโs more about an experience and in some senses a supper network for life.
Maybe things are going a little full circle back to the days of a job for life where the firm would support the employee through their life.
But, this feels a little different. There is no loyalty these days..on both sides. I fear a clash is coming.
